Scott Kelby World Wide Photowalk 2010

A few weeks ago I was fortunate to grab a spot in Scott Kelby’s World Wide Photowalk. 1,111 walks took place around the world with 33,497 photographers participating. I was so thrilled to be part of this event! I attended the walk in Marietta, Georgia. I have lived in Atlanta for 15 years and this was my first time to Marietta Square. It was a beautiful, HOT, day and the Farmer’s Market was in full swing so it was a hopping place. I was happy when I saw familiar faces from the walk I did with I heart faces in Oakland Cemetery! Annie, Cindy, and Mishelle aka Secret Agent Mama had camera’s in hand ready to shoot! In Marietta Square, the old building’s architecture was beautifully detailed and to escape the heat, Cindy and I spent some time in a antique shop. Lot’s of fun items in there!

I had the BEST time on the photowalk and will be looking to sign up again next year!

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever . . . it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

  1. Beautifully captured! You have some great shots there. I particularly like the bricks. Stunning.
