White Candy Covered Pretzel Ghosts

Treats! These are simple ghostly treats you can make in a matter of minutes for Halloween!

I bought some pretzels rods at my local grocery store. I picked up the black sparkle gel and candy melts at JoAnn’s. I was looking for a black edible pen to use for the eyes but I could not find one. I did find this Wilton sparkle gel and it worked just fine.

I melted the candy melts in the microwave for one minute and then stirred around a bit. I hit the 30 second heat button a few more times until the candy coating was melted and smooth. I took a pretzel rod and dipped it in the candy coating and used the spoon to coat the top part of the pretzel. I placed the pretzels flat on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. When I was finished with the coating, I placed them in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to set and harden . I removed them from the refrigerator, and I used the sparkle gel to make the eyes and mouth. Sorry no photos of this step! After I finished with the eyes and mouth’s I placed them back in the refrigerator so the gel could harden a bit and set.

I had a plastic container that I filled with Candy Corn. I love that Candy Corn! I placed the pretzels in the Candy Corn using a spoon to make a space for them to fit down in the container.

Boolicious!!
You see some of the pretzels have sprinkles on them as well. If you want to add sprinkles to the pretzels, you will cover the pretzel with candy coating first, sprinkle, then place in the refrigerator to set.
Last Halloween I made these…..
You can see how I made them here.
And if you are looking for another Halloween treat….
How about these witches?
