You were short but very sweet. A whole lot of goodness went on and I am thankful for every day I got to spend with you! Cheers to having an extra day, and allowing me time to leap into March. See you next year!
Let’s talk about February. It started out with a yummy Hibachi lunch with my co-workers. That does not happen too often so it was a real treat. I picked out a sweet peacock case for my iPhone. See on the 3rd? It’s so colorful and it makes me smile. My husband and I had a date night including little black dress and heels! Love that. I had an appointment with a Gastroenterologist and had a endo-bravo procedure done. My diagnosis? Acid Reflux. Hello Nexium! Nice to meet you. Thanks for taking care of that crazy chest discomfort!
For Valentines Day, my husband made me a mix tape! Yes. For real. He hooked up our old cassette tape player and I enjoyed a mix of all the songs that made him think of me. A variety of a mix including Yaz, Depeche Mode, Abba, Led Zeppelin and a recording he did of himself playing the guitar singing “Black Bird” by the Beatles. Tears I tell ya! I was also surprised with a fun gadget for my iPhone. An Olloclip! It attaches to my phone and includes a wide angle, fish eye, and macro lens. I’ll be sharing a few fun photos I took with it soon.
I hiked with the Trail Dames along Vickery Creek Trail. If you missed that post, you can check it out here. Love those Dames! I always have a great time with them. See those two cuties on the 24th? That’s my son and daughter-in-law. We had a lunch date and I am always so happy to spend time with them.
The last weekend of February I had a wonderful surprise. I have a new pup we have named Maggie. Have you had a chance to meet her yet? Check her out here. We are in our second full week with her and it’s been a real twist in our schedules but we love her so much and we are making it through the puppy training.
Thanks February! It was another sweet month.
It’s all good. ~ Donna
P.S. iPhone 365 is the app I am using for this project. I downloaded it from the Apple App Store. It’s so easy to use and it keeps all my photos well organized using a monthly calendar. Check it out here.
